Well, here starts a blog that started purely because I was bored during a holiday.
But I’ve always found the concept of writing down my thoughts and ideas somewhere to be quite appealing; not just so other people can see it, but so I can see it in the future. Ergo, I like to think of this blog as somewhere I can keep a record of all the thoughts I want and hopefully it will be used for such means.
Knowing the nature of how my thoughts tend to be laughed at by many people, this blog probably won’t be seen by many people that I know, other than a select few (lucky) people. That’s fine, if anything I like it that way! And for that purpose, I’m going to restrain myself from sharing this blog with other people (except just a couple of people). I’ll just let people wander into my wonderland of insanity by chance. :)
One of the reasons I wanted to start a blog is to - wait for it - post entries of my Encyclopaedia of Relative and Absolute Knowledge, which I’ll call Project Ark in blogs for convenience. It’s something I started in January based on the works of Bernard Werber (one of my favourite authors) and since then I’ve been trying to write as much as possible. However, with uni being so busy I found that I didn’t have enough time to keep up a steady pace and only managed a total of 20 entries to date. So hopefully, I’ll be using this blog as a platform to keep up a steady rate of writing and have an online record of it at the same time. The foreword, which I’ll put up as soon I’ve translated it, will have much more detail on why I started it and what it’s all about, so keep an eye out!
A minor problem is that all these entries are written in Korean, meaning I’ll have to translate every entry. But as my original plan was to write everything in Korean, I’ll continue to write every entry in both languages. It’ll be good practice. I guess.
Other than Project Ark, I’ll also just post random things I can think of, and how my life is going etcetera. I do hope it will be fun and constructive, and not something I stop after 3 days.
Anyway, this first entry has become waaaaaay longer than I first anticipated, so with that thought in mind, let’s begin! :D
